Cardio Beach Workout

I don’t need much motivation to exercise on the beach. Just being out in nature really gets me motivated. I even forgo the music while I run to listen to the waves. I get really zen, it’s really nice. I also don’t ever complain about how far I’ve gone, because I just get to walk back on the beach!!! My favorite beach workout comes from the Couch to 5k program.

This workout can obviously be done anywhere, and I really recommend it for beginners. I noticed that 60 sec run is more mind over matter than anything. Most everyone can run for at least a minute. It also helps keep your heart rate up for when you’re walking so you can burn more calories.
