Frozen Banana Treat & SlimKicker Contest

Still overwhelmed with bananas and the threat of them going bad I decided I needed a recipe that would keep the bananas just a bit longer! Best way to do that, as far as I know, is to freeze them. My boyfriend and I -love- ice cream and now we have a pretty healthy ice cream like treat. I also have a contest for everyone today! See the details at the end of this post.

3 whole bananas
2 tablespoons of peanut butter

Mash one banana in a bowl. Add peanut butter and mix. Slice remaining two bananas into an even amount of pieces (ex: 10, 16, 24). Spread a little bit of mixture on one slice of banana, add another slice of banana on top. Continue until all slices are used. Freeze for one hour on wooden cutting board. Serve.

I’ve transferred my remaining pieces into a container that can go into the freezer after the initial freezing.
